CIRIP Ghana Team at the INSOL London Conference 2026, engaging with global leaders in insolvency, restructuring, and financial systems.

Strengthening Global Connections and Advancing Insolvency Practice

The CIRIP Ghana Team proudly participated in the INSOL London Conference 2026, a premier global gathering of experts across academia, finance, regulation, legal practice, and the judiciary. The conference offered a rich platform for knowledge exchange on pressing global issues, including economic uncertainty, cross-border insolvency, and innovative restructuring strategies. Through active engagement in keynote sessions and technical discussions, the team gained valuable insights that will contribute to advancing insolvency practice and institutional capacity in Ghana. A special acknowledgement goes to PMO Ghana for hosting the CIRIP Team at a pre-conference dinner, providing a warm and engaging setting for networking and collaboration ahead of the main event.

From an academic standpoint, the conference delivered high-level thought leadership from globally respected scholars and policy experts, offering fresh perspectives on the intersection of economics, law, and restructuring. These insights are expected to enrich CIRIP’s training programmes, research agenda, and professional development initiatives, ensuring members remain equipped with contemporary knowledge and global best practices relevant to Ghana’s evolving insolvency landscape.

Engagements with financiers and regulators highlighted the growing complexity of financial distress management in today’s volatile economic climate. Discussions on private capital, SME debt strategies, and regulatory frameworks underscored the importance of strong governance systems and innovative financing solutions in supporting business recovery. These lessons are particularly significant for Ghana as the country continues to strengthen its insolvency and restructuring framework to promote economic resilience.

At the practitioner and judicial levels, the conference provided in-depth exploration of cross-border insolvency challenges, emerging technologies such as AI in asset tracing, and the increasing role of alternative dispute resolution in restructuring. Contributions from leading judges and practitioners offered practical insights into enforcement, jurisdictional coordination, and judicial decision-making. Overall, CIRIP Ghana’s presence at the conference reinforces its commitment to global engagement, professional excellence, and the continuous development of insolvency practice in Ghana.
